Privacy Policy

GalaDrop ("we", "us", "our") is a cloud-based photo delivery and gallery management platform built for professional wedding photographers in India. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data.

By creating an account or using GalaDrop at galadrop.com, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

We collect only the information needed to run the service:

• Account information — your name, email address, and a hashed password, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth).
• Profile data — your active plan, storage usage, and trial counters.
• Event and photo data — photos you upload, event names, gallery slugs, and selections made by your clients.
• Payment information — processed by Razorpay. GalaDrop never sees or stores your full card number, CVV, or UPI credentials.
• Usage data — basic counters such as number of uploads, storage bytes used, and timestamps, used to enforce plan limits and improve the product.

• We do not sell your data to any third party. Ever.
• We do not share your data with advertisers.
• We do not share photographer or client photos with anyone outside the people you explicitly grant access to.
• We do not run third-party behavioural analytics, ad pixels, or cross-site trackers.
• Photos you upload are private and accessible only to you and the gallery recipients you choose to share with.

• Photos are stored on Cloudflare R2, encrypted at rest, and delivered through Cloudflare Workers.
• Account, event, and metadata are stored in our Supabase Postgres database with encryption at rest and row-level security policies that scope every record to its owner.
• Welcome (free trial) photos are automatically deleted 24 hours after upload, along with their R2 objects.
• You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing ingaladrop@gmail.com.

• Data for active accounts is retained for as long as the account is active.
• When you delete your account, all associated data (profile, events, photos, R2 objects) is purged within 30 days.
• Welcome trial photos are auto-deleted after 24 hours regardless of account status.
• On subscription cancellation of a paid plan, photos remain accessible for 30 days, then are permanently deleted.

We rely on the following providers to operate GalaDrop. Each one is contractually bound to handle data only on our instructions. Their own privacy policies apply to the processing they perform.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Delete your account and all associated data (photos, events, profile, payment records held on our side).
• Export your data in a portable format on request.
• Correct any inaccurate personal information.

GalaDrop uses only essential cookies and similar storage (e.g. localStorage) to keep you signed in and remember your session. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies.

GalaDrop is intended for professional and semi-professional photographers and photography businesses. The service is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of GalaDrop after a change means you accept the updated policy.
